Thanks. The Brother in law who fixed it is a retired AF Master Sgt. Spent a lot of time on Jets, and was a crew chief for years on a C5A out of Dover. Electronics are his friend and repairable no matter what.

I would rather have a dog again, but the wife gets too attached. We had dogs for years and years. Then again I asked her how a cat would different. She had no answer, and when the one goes it will be just a tough on her. The "mean cat", who used to be the "friendly cat", was kind of forced on us when our granddaughter was born. Cats are more of a leave me alone- I'll do what I want animal.

We have a mixed household...a dog and a cat! I say my kids and wife have a cat, and I have a dog. My kids will tell you that talk big but I'm a softy and like all animals. My preference by far is a big old friendly dog. Perhaps when I retire and spend more time in a camper I will have to consider a smaller furry friend.

We have two cats and two dogs. They all get along and the younger dog is best friends with one of the cats. It’s absolutely adorable.

My retired Navy friend was a diver. Dove to recover bodies off the
Coast of New York after a plane crash and other sites.

Should I add fuel to the fire? How about this...any dog under 30 lbs is really just a cat in disguise!

And some that are over 30 lbs.

My 35 lb corgi "purrs" when he wants petted.

Thanks again. Yes, I am PADI certified but have not been on a dive in several years. I do want to go again soon, but it will probably have to be a fresh water dive as the wife will not leave the good ole USA again.

Thanks for sharing. Pets have their own minds and expectations. We have one young dog and one older chill dog when we got our trailer last year. We were worried about our one young dog so we parked the rv in the driveway to get things set up and had them spend time in it on day 1 and slept in it with me night 2. It seemed to help but on trip one the young dog kept getting up and pacing at night. Once we learned to move the young dogs bed from under the desk and into our bedroom at night things were great.
