Auto- leveling lifted my tires off the ground
Why would it do this?
2021 reflection 31mb
I fixed it by taking boards I use for unleveled sites, putting them under the tires and manually lowering the camper and manually leveling.
Thanks for your input- I searched the forum for this issue to no avail.

I recall reading somewhere here on the forum that you should level side to side before using the auto level to avoid the lifting. We don't have it on our 2014 (and at times I'm glad we don't)

Did you reset the level when you first got it? Often, the preset "what's level" in the auto level is way off from where level really is.
In fact, you may need to reset the auto level a couple of times in the first year (we had to) before your rig really learns what level is.

First off tires off the ground on one side is not unusual, I have done it many times. So here's the deal. If the level up system can get you level without over extending a jack it will do so, and yes, some tires might be off the ground. If that freaks you out then by all means use boards or whatever to pre-level the RV. That used to be the go to method when I had manual jacks. Put boards under, then use the jacks to micro level.
Now when I pull into a sight I eyeball the sight to see if it is pretty level, no, then I drop 4x4 blocks under the jacks on the downhill side. I am currently in a sight that I had to add blocks to, didn't appear to be that out of level, but I got out of stroke error when autolevel was invoked. Pulled it back up, put blocks under the low side, re-leveled. OMG, the right rear wheel is off the ground.
Ok, I have done this so many times I am no longer concerned about it. At one campground I had all 3 wheels on the passenger side 4-5 inches off the ground, that was wicked.
The big thing to remember if you get into those situations is to chock a lot, no, not the count chocolate, chock on both side of the wheels on the ones that will remain on the ground. If, for whatever reason, you RV should start to slide, it would fall off of the blocks and cause mondo damage. By putting chocks on both sides of the wheels it keeps the RV from moving left to right et al. Pretty important when you go to hanging an RV in the air. Yes I have done this a couple of times, don't like it, but done is done.Dallas

Good info y’all. I have not reset “level” since bringing her home.
