TPMS is a good idea. You can catch it BEFORE it goes flat.
Tires may look good, but if they're old you can have problems. I had several go flat and disintegrate because of a bad valve stem.

Our TPMS works well for us. It has 6 sensors. 4 are used on our trailer. The other two could be used on the truck spare and trailer spare (just to watch the pressure). This TPMS is cheap at $120.
