    Reflection 337RLS Question

    Hi all,

We have a deposit on a 2015 337RLS 5th Wheel but today noticed subtle differences in some 337RLS 2015's. Differences that arent offered as options. For instance the placement of the outside speakers, some are on the wall and others are in the awning, yet both are being sold as 2015. The other thing we noticed is that the 2014's are 33 feet. I guess my question is, did GD have a mid year design change? And looking at interior pictures, what is taking up the extra 3ft space in length in the 2015 models? It makes me wonder what else they changed that isnt listed as options in the later 2015 models. Thanks

I am no expert, but it seems to me that GD makes minor tweeks between builds.
The 337 I saw at the Chicago RV show Wednesday had speakers in the awning and the power connection on the side.
It had the nice dresser with the window above it in the bedroom .... Nice changes.
As for the length ... I think they have always been 36 feet. Don't know why many dealers advertise at 34 feet or so.

Our 337 is on order and due in March. Will see what we get ... should be the latest I hope.

The 337s have always been 36 foot. I think the reason you see 33 some times is because dealers used the same specs from the 303 for the 337.

When we went to purchase our 2015 337 I had already done a ton of research and knew I wanted a late build 2015 for those and a few other changes. The dealer was trying to get me to buy a 2015 they had on the lot and it was an earlier build and had all the older elements. We negotiated our price than I told him I wanted a new build. They complied Ours was built 12/23/14 and also had a redesigned couch, LED lighting throughout and the rear bumper/sewer holding tube was no longer used and a 2" hitch receiver became standard. I do not think the length has changed though. That would require a major design change. These changes are typically minor and resulting from owner comments and parts availability. Another very minor difference in ours when it arrived was a Furrion stereo versus a Jensen. One of the major design changes we wanted was the bedroom dresser / window layout and the hitch of the newer builds. We didn't even know about the LED lighting or the couch until it arrived I'm sure the next update, [probably with the 2016 model, there will be elements I would love to have on mine. That's how they keep customers buying new units.

337 owners--how much heavier is the 337 street side v.s. the curb side ? Our 303 had a document provided by GDRV showing 560 lbs more ULVW street side. As some have pointed out after loading the fridge/pantry/cabinets/etc. the street side could easily be a couple lbs. even more heavy since the curb side has little area for loading.

The late 2015 has the bedroom redesign with the window moved forward and the low, long dresser with overhead storage. The stove is flush mounted with a cover, and sink covers are standard now as well as the omitted rear bumper and new bike rack receiver.

That is exactly how I feel with our 2014. We were supposed to wait a year before we bought ours. Couldn't wait once we found Reflection-fell in love with it! But, there are updates I would like to have.
We still love our 337 though, and glad we upgraded when we did. And it's nice to see a company that listens to it's customers and makes changes accordingly.

We have one of the 337 prototypes built in Sep 2014. They've always have been 36' in length...you're just seeing some bad info on-line. RV industry isn't like auto...lots of running changes implemented during the model year.

Ours has a 715# weight bias to the non door side...I believe later builds are less than that.

Our street-side is about 700lb heavier, too.
