    Correct Tire Pressure

We are new to the Imagine and the tires seem low on air. One side is 40 psi and the other side is 30 psi. Cold tires. The tire says max 60 psi. What pressure do you put in your tires? And as always thank you so much. You all have been amazingly helpful.

I always run max psi. You can look up your tire manufacture and see what weight rating they have at what pressure. They should have a load/inflation chart. You would have to weigh your rig to make the numbers match the psi/load carry capacity. I know what my rig weights so therefore run max psi.

Look at the sticker on the front driver's side of your trailer. That will show you what tire pressure you should be using.

Yes, I know that but I’ve heard the ride can be pretty bumpy if inflated too to max. Plus wear the tires.

Thanks. I guess we need to load it up, weigh it and go from there.

We run ours at max (80 psi for our tires) when loaded. If bringing home from storage I will accept 75 psi for the short 3 mile unloaded trip.

We run our 303 at 80 psi as well. I’ve weighed it, and we are close to the GVWR for the trailer.

My advice is to not overthink this. The sticker on your trailer is the ideal tire pressure in virtually all cases. As with most travel trailers in the Lite or Ultra-Lite category, you will be close to GVWR when packed and ready to hit the road anyway. Always a good idea to get real world weights, but matching tire pressure to load is not required, IMO. Tire wear will be ideal and the ride will be appropriate using the sticker values. If you find things are moving around, and to ensure ideal tire wear, I recommend to have the tires balanced.
