I'll be interested in the responses.
We have the same configuration on our Imagine 2970RL. We have a slide topper on ours so my challenge will be keeping the rainwater that pools on the topper, which it does, running the other way. I think I'm going to use an inflatable something, beach ball maybe, to raise the door end of the topper.Mike & Lisa

This topic has been covered. What some people are doing is getting an umbrella. They have tied a water jug of water and tied it to the bottom so the wind wouldn't just blow it away.

I never extend my awnings unless it's a calm sunny day, and I'm going to be there with it. I've personally witnessed too many awnings being torn off or causing damage from wind as rain/storms move in.

Get a black tarp and clip it to the roof and tie A corner to each awning. Clearly they never camped in the rain. And who puts a downspout over the storage door.

Has anyone come up with anything else? I have tried umbrella however I wish they would come up with a real solution. We camp in the PNW so it’s typically raining and the stairs and everything in front of door is a muddy puddle that drags into trailer by kids and dogs. It’s kinda frustrating that an 80k trailer doesn’t have a better awning system.
best strategie on keeping unit...
