    Cover between 2 awnings

Anyone come up with an easy solution to covering up the big gap between the two awnings next to the entry door? When it’s raining, you and the inside of the camper are going to get wet.

I'll be interested in the responses.

We have the same configuration on our Imagine 2970RL. We have a slide topper on ours so my challenge will be keeping the rainwater that pools on the topper, which it does, running the other way. I think I'm going to use an inflatable something, beach ball maybe, to raise the door end of the topper.

This topic has been covered. What some people are doing is getting an umbrella. They have tied a water jug of water and tied it to the bottom so the wind wouldn't just blow it away.

I never extend my awnings unless it's a calm sunny day, and I'm going to be there with it. I've personally witnessed too many awnings being torn off or causing damage from wind as rain/storms move in.

Get a black tarp and clip it to the roof and tie A corner to each awning. Clearly they never camped in the rain. And who puts a downspout over the storage door.

Has anyone come up with anything else? I have tried umbrella however I wish they would come up with a real solution. We camp in the PNW so it’s typically raining and the stairs and everything in front of door is a muddy puddle that drags into trailer by kids and dogs. It’s kinda frustrating that an 80k trailer doesn’t have a better awning system.
