Has anyone ran group 27’s parallel, and which batteries did you use?

We have a Cummins 5500 in our rig, but only a single group 27 in place( too many cables can’t seal battery box for proper venting)I have been looking and found this dual group 27 box which fits and will have space to seal. I plan on attaching factory vent hose to box. What is a great long lasting pair of batteries to use or you had luck with?

Batteries last as long as you treat them. Keep them charged and watered if wet.
I've been using AGMs for years now due to no watering and venting issues, a pair of 31s now, pair of 24s previously, in parallel of course.

Most G27 batteries, while advertised as marine or RV batteries, are really not true deep discharge. Trojan is the only company I know of that might make a true deep discharge 12v battery.
