Awning doesn't fully close on one side
When closing the awning on my 2019 Refection 303, one side does not fully shut. It is about 1-2 inches from fully closing. I have checked the awning fabric - does not appear to have slipped. The arms don't appear to be bent - I can physically push the arms closed. I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks

Do you have the awning set at an angle? On mine I can leave it at an angle and extend and retract it. Maybe you have too much of an angle if you have it setup that way.

I'd check that the awning fabric is rolling up straight on the roller.

I have the same problem on my 337. Sent pictures to Campers Inn in Union Ct and was told that’s nothing to worry about. It’s been that way for two years now, hopefully it’s the same issue you are having.

I should clarify that it’s only one arm on one side doing that on mine. Sounds like you may have a different problem than I have.

You mean something like this:
While the other one looks so:
The arm that isn’t closing completely is toward the rear of our trailer. It has always stuck out a bit, but exacerbated to current state after we added a sunshade panel. We’ve been traveling for 2 summers with it like that to no ill effect. I don’t think 2” will make a difference between a hit or a miss. If an obstacle or projectile is that close, there are worse things to worry about.Bruce and Nancy

Hello. We have a 2018 337rl reflection (3years old) that the awning on the table slide does not fully close tight on the rear arm. The arms that extend don’t line up perfectly with the fixed arms on the trailer causing ours to not fully go in. I strike it up as a mistake in the installation of the awning. But I could be wrong just not willing to let the rv dealer take things apart. I’ve read about this before on reflection models with the slide awning maybe doing what yours is doing.

Sorry to say mine is nowhere near as bad as that.I don’t even show any daylight between the arm and the strip of metal it goes over on the wall of the camper. I would be concerned with what is happening to yours.Do you have a dealer you can send these photos to and get their opinion? Good Luck. You could probably put some gorilla tape on just to be safe.

I genuinely thank you for your concern, and I’m glad ours makes you feel better. But what @242 checkmate said above is our general attitude toward the situation.

The rear awning on our 303 is the same. The back arm won't tighten all the way, about 1" play when retracted.
