Tingling when grounded

Imagine tow behind is attached to the truck and plugged into house shore power. When barefoot and especially if a bit damp, I get a very very distinct tingling when I touch trailer metal, like the bumper or door lock.

Any ideas what going on and how to fix it, other than wear shoes with insulation.

Unplug from the house outlet immediately and try another outlet. Your outlet may be faulty. If that doesn’t fix it you may have a bad ground within the RV. The tingling you’re getting is referred to as hot skin and can be dangerous.

What kind of outlet?

You need to unhook the RV and check the wiring for the power source. Not hard, and somebody here can coach you through it if you have a volt meter.

I think it is the plug. Going to a czmpground tomorrow and will check it there and then check the outlet it is in at home. Now, where's that darn volt meter?

I carry a 3 prong tester you plug into the outlet https://www.homedepot.com/p/Power-Ge...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

From your comments you may have an open ground on your house circuit.

gosh..... I keep coming back in the hopes that the OP will tell us what he found.

When in campground and hooked to park 50 amp circuit no tingling. Gonna have an electrician install a 50 amp and make sure there is no more tingle.
