any pics of battery install behind false wall

Got my 2nd BB battery and am looking to move them next to converter. Did not remember it being so tight. Was thinking of mounting the PD converter behind hutch wall to free up some floor space.

Then on short wall by steps use a piece of plywood to fasten victron mppt,1500w inverter. Think it will be tight.

    Words of wisdom? Pics?

This guy installs solar and hides batteries away behind the walls in the pass-through bay.

I see at least 4 different Reflections that's he's worked on.

My solution... of course the false wall is installed in front of the batteries with a plexiglass window to see the system and a cut out to turn the battery switch.

I did add the plywood over the stairs frame to make an electronics mounting face... my inverter is beside the wall and the other black box is the dirt devil central vac.

If I recall I removed the central stair support post but that was reinforced by the plywood span taking the load. Three batteries fit perfectly.

Found another “before” mod pic. I cut out the central stair support post and the wood on the floor between the two remaining post. I screwed the two remaining posts to the floor to better secure. This allowed the space for 3 batteries. The new plywood wall took the load and I’ve had no issues a year later. The new battery tray was screwed to the floor. I of course had to relocate the water line and some wiring.

The batteries are under the stairs leading into the front room. I added the plywood sheets behind the framing of the stairs and the hutch to attach the solar controllers and the transfer switch.
