    TPMS and metal valve stems

    Hey all
Picking up our new 2020 (left over, go figure that one) 240rl on the 23rd. It has the GY Endurance, but I forgot to look at the valve stems. Anyone know if they are standard metal or are they rubber?

Typically delivered with rubber stems. If you are getting a TPMS with the little knobby things you definitely want to get metal stems put in. The rubber ones will work for a while but eventually they rip and leak. Then you have to make sure the metal stems are a bit longer, the little short stubby ones that are often carried are a PITA. Don't settle. I did on two tires and have wrestled with them for a couple of years now, tired of it. New tires are coming up, you can bet I am getting the longer metal stems put in.
