Differences between Reflection 150 Series and regular Reflection Fifth Wheels

Does anyone know where I could find a detailed list of differences between the two? I know the 150 series is made for the half ton towable market and is therefore lighter and they are slightly less expensive than the regular Reflection models but what would make someone purchase a heavier more expensive model?

We went to look at the 295 RL but ended up purchasing a 29 RS. We wanted to stay light as possible and definitely under 35 feet. The decision to go with the 29RS was the layout. The access to the bathroom from the bedroom was what sealed the deal for us. I always liked that layout but the boss hated it in pictures. Once she went into the 29RS she loved it as much as I did. It really makes the bathroom feel larger and she can keep her hair dryer and such in the bedroom closet. I've heard the structure is a little bit more robust in the regular Reflection line but I have no real proof except from what I read on the internet. Really happy with the layout and glad we got it when we did. The 29RS sadly went to dealer stock only a couple weeks ago.

Hi. I don't know of any lists pertaining to your question. So it might be easier to have some of the primary differences pointed out between the two. One, the Reflection floorplans are generally bigger than the 150 Series. That's the biggest difference between the two RV lines. That's what makes the 150 generally the lighter version. Second, the 150 Series has a turning point pin box which allows for sharper turning and smaller truck beds. Third, 150 Series will generally have smaller fridges, microwaves and storage space for instance because of the smaller floorplans. Cheers!

The 295 has the same floor plan as the 303 minus the bedroom slide and shorter according to a grand design rep

This information was presented in other threads here: the biggest difference is the 150 series has a laminated construction floor (similar to the sidewalls) to save weight. The Reflection series (except for the 28BH and 31MB who also have laminated floors) has more robust plywood decking construction.

Thanks everyone. We bought a 2021 Reflection 311BHS five months ago and have recently seen a lot of advertising on the 150 Series models in my area. I started wondering what the differences were other than the weight and cost.

Cargo doors are thicker and I believe the regular reflection has slam latches.

Reflection has 3 slides and lippert 3.0 stabilizers. The 150 series had less slides and manual stabilizers. Not sure about the newer stuff.
We wanted the 3 slides and only 30 ‘ in length, that’s why we went with reflection. Bathroom access with slides closed is great!
