Florida Dispersed Camping
Like many others, we love to spend winter months in Florida. We're primarily boondockers, so we're perfectly comfortable in the middle of nowhere. If the road can take the rig, we're on it.
Anyway, we've done some research, and found there is some dispersed (free) camping in central Florida. We don't need to be on the beach, so inland is just fine.
Does anyone here have a list of decent dispersed camping in Florida? I'm looking to add to the short list of places we've put together.
What arrival days might be the best to be reasonably assured of getting a spot?
TIA!Chuck & Madelyn

Seranova Tract in Land o Lakes near SR 52 /Hays road
Cypress Creek Preserve (also Land o Lakes I believe) off of 41 north of 54.
They are both water management district. You have to call and reserve and they give you the combination to open the gate.
We have not yet been there to stay but we did some recon a couple of weeks ago. We are going to plan a few day stay at one of them in early December.
We found them via the app "Campendium".Jay Leonard

It's sad that we've reached a time where you have to reserve a spot to boondock.
