    An option to the metal bracket is to tap, tap, tap the wall. It's not at all hard to figure out where the wall studs are. But don't forget they're aluminum--not wood. 3/4" sheet metal screws would do the trick.

    On my 323BHS, the bedroom tv mounting plate is centered right over the only window. It's dark enough without the tv covering the window. I plan on getting a swing out mounting. I still don't cherish having to pay almost as much for the mount as I did for the television.
