Lake Tahoe summer 2021
Looking for recommendations for great campground with hookups for a weeklong summer trip to Lake Tahoe. Rig is 37 feet long. Anyone with any opinions?

Tahoe valley campground is nice. Pretty large campground with full hookups. Close to the 89/50 split. Stayed here once and had a nice time.
Camp Richardson is very nice! Smaller campground and a couple miles from the 89/50 split. They have only 8 or so full hookup sites. The rest are water/electric only. We have stayed here the last 4 years and really like it.

I used to live a couple hours from Tahoe and visit alot. Personally I would stay at Zephyr Cove RV Park on the east shore. Tahoe Valley Campground on south shore is good too but busier since it is located at Stateline and near the casinos. I would also look at the RV parks in or near Truckee near the north shore (Truckee river RV). Decent fly fishing on the Truckee river too.

Campground by the Lake....super busy and crowded...they pack you in....some with electric and some without. It's not peaceful but you are at Lake Tahoe so expect crowded. The nice thing with this campground is you can walk right to the lake. It's across from a park with kayak rentals and water activities. Our kids are older and prefer this as easy to access the lake. I think it is county or city owned.
Re-pack bearings necessary?
