    Washer Dryer 344 GK R

I just bought a 2021 344 gkr and I'm now going to try and put a washer dryer combo in the bedroom closet I was wondering if anybody had done it and if there's enough room to put a splendid 7100 combos in there without removing the doors for the bedroom or the closet

I don't know anything about your specific installation, but with mine the dimensions of the Splendide washer and dryer were exactly to spec. The dimesion of the closet door was also exactly as specified by GD in the 300GK .

The problem was that the door is exactly 1/4" too small for the washer and dryer to go through. I had to remove the door and jamb o. Both the bedroom door and the closet. I also had to heavily modify the dryer because the vent could not make the impossible turn than GD required.

In the end, I got them in there, but it was a pretty major ordeal. I'll try to find the post about my installation.

Exact same situation and process with the installation in our 2020 Solitude 310GK-R. (I think the W/D closets are all the same in the front bedroom Solitudes.) After our installation I had an email conversation with Jerry McCarthy at GD. He brought one of the Solitude design team members in on the conversation who confirmed that changes had been made to address this but the changes had not made it to the production line yet. I don't know if this happened or not.

I guess it just one more quality control issue with Grand Design. Came back from a trip today and the mirror was laying on the love seat. They shot 5
1 inch nails in to hold it up. Not a happy camper.
