Replacement for bathroom sink faucet
We are tired of the plastic crappy faucet in the bathroom sink. I want to replace it. Looking under the sink it seems the only thing holding it in are the two retainer nuts. Will a regular household sink faucet work? Definitely not a plumber but have replaced sinks in our home. The measurement seems to be about 4.5 inches from the center of the holes. Thanks.

Thanks. Do you need an adapter for the water lines?

Yes you will need to remove the fittings and replace with 3/8 connections.

No adapter needed for the one I used from Lowes. Direct replacement. Took all but 5 minutes. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Pfister-Mas...ain/1000244317

That is exactly what we want. I’ll pick one up in a day or so. We just returned from the Linville Falls NC area today. I’m going to rest a day or two. Thank you so much.

Before you go.....search here to find a thread in the mods section about replacing the entire sink. The folks who replaced theirs were not happy with the size/depth of it. We followed suit, because ours was plastic and developed tiny, leaking stress cracks at the drain escutcheon (probably due to travel, although it might have been over-tightened upon installation). The install was not too difficult (if you’ve ever replaced one at home) just a bit of working in cramped space. While we were at it, we replaced all the soft hose with Pex (another “must read” in the mods or plumbing sections of the forum). Consider your current sink. If you like it and it will last, then a faucet replacement alone will probably do.

We have used this one in this and the previous camper. It is 4" on center, what you need.
