Solitude 377mbs vs Solitude S-Class 3740
Hey everyone,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We are currently looking closely at the Solitude 377 and the Solitude S-class 3740 (with the super sofa) and are hoping to get some thoughts from the group. We have a daughter (11), and 2 sons (8 and 6), and are NOT full-timers. We love the fact that the 377 has a great rear-living layout, and all the upgrades that go along with a Solitude, but we also like the idea of a half bath, outdoor kitchen, and a larger bunkhouse that is on the opposite end of the fifth-wheel from the master. The only complaint we’ve heard about re the 377 is the poor air flow into the bunk (but it looks like there are some creative folks on the forum who have come up with workable solutions) and we’ve not heard any complaints about the 3740.
Both seem like outstanding units but the additional living space and functionality of the rear living area of the 377 is very appealing to us.
One of the big questions we struggle with is... does the increased living space of the 377 outweigh the better bunk layout and half bath of the 3740?
Also, is it true the Solitude exterior is changing this year?
Obviously these units are priced pretty differently but let’s assume the price delta would be between $8k-10k.
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I thought they had discontinued the 377 in favor of the 378 (no loft area above the mid room).
We have a 3740BH-R and like it but I would love the rear living layout of the 377 (as well as non S-Class options such as the 8k axles). My wife was set on the 1/2 bath though so that was that lol2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali Diesel DRW (Crew Cab | 8 Ft bed | OEM Puck System | Curt Gooseneck Ball for OEM Puck | Timbrens on rear axle)

Yep, the 377 is dealer stock only at this point. The half bath is nice for sure.

So we decided on the 377. 3740 is awesome, but decided to go with the mid bunk to get that extra living space. Can’t wait to get it out camping with the family.

Congrats on the 377. We traded in a '15 371 Fuzion toyhauler on our '18 377 MBS Solitude and love it. Wife wanted more living space and the mid bedroom and loft for the 3 grandsons. The extra 1/2 bath and generator we had in the toyhauler is what I miss. Our mid bedroom does get warmer than the rest of the coach but only in the 95 degree heat we get in SE Louisiana. The 2 youngest grandsons like the loft anyway and it stays cool up there with the vent open.
