What Brand and type of wheel bearing grease should I use?

What type bearing grease is recommended on the Lippert?

I've used Lucas Oil Red N Tacky exclusively on my bearings and wet bolts. If switching types of grease it's best to either start with new bearings (easiest) or ensure you thoroughly clean off the old grease. Basically, dont mix greases.

I use Lucas heavy duty green grease. It meets at exceeds Lippert spec. For wheel bearings
It has the highest temp rating.

X2 on the Lucas Heavy Duty Green grease. Just remember this is not a lithium complex grease so if you are going to use this you need to do a really clean off of the old grease from the bearings and spindle.

I just talked to Lippert they say Lithium Based, Lucas Red n Tacky is what the employees use.

I'll add my two cents. I switched to Red Line CV-2 high performance extreme pressure synthetic grease. NLGI Grade #2 . Dropping point in excess of 800 degrees. As many have already pointed out the best bearing insurance is regular maintenance, high quality bearings/seals and making sure your installed bearing runout tolerances are in that 3-5 thousandths range (I use a magnetic based dial indicator gauge and it works great).
