    Hi,
1st day with 2020 Reflection Fifth Wheel, found this in refrigerator. Not sure what it is for. Any help would be great.

I think to help keep the fridge doors slightly open when in storage.

Yep, that's the new-fangled spacer for holding the fridge doors open while stored.

We didn't get one 4 years ago. We had to figure it out how to hold them open, since the little pop-out on the door just doesn't do it. I use a pot holder to hold the fridge part open, and the freezer door is held wide open by the faucet on the sink in the island.

Its a spacer that holds the fridge doors open when in storage so mold won't happen in your fridge.
The spacer slides over the fridges striker where the doors latch, and then you close the doors and the doors latch onto the spacer. Leaving the doors open about an inch.

Mine don’t actually “latch”. They just sit against this piece. Are they supposed to latch against it? We don’t use it except when stored, with the fridge off. This piece keeps them from closing, so that you can get some air circulation when the fridge isn’t in use.

I'm think I'm almost positively sure that they latch,..maybe...I'll be going to the storage lot Monday, so I'll check to see if they latch or not.

The doors do latch on the spacer. Here's a pic...kinda hard to see, but the latch hook on the door is latched to the spacer.Click image for larger version.

That is what they are for and it is such a wonderful idea...I used to tie the fridge door open in our boat when it went to winter storage but this is so much better. LOVE it.

I use Chip Clips to keep the doors open. Just snap them on the bar on one of the shelves. Works great!
