Water Pump Running All The Time

We have a 2017 337RLS Reflection fifth wheel and have been having problems with our water pump. After you run water and it's done with the cycle you can still hear it running very softly. The only way to stop it is by turning off the pump. It will blow air out of the faucet ever time when you turn it on and at times the water pressure can be very low. My guess is it's has air in the lines. Any ideas on how to figure out if this is my problem?

Does this have a KantLeak service panel for your water connections? That’s the panel with the two valves where your hose connection is. If so, those valves have small o rings in them that fail with symptoms like you describe. They have a repair kit to fix the valves, but have now come up with complete replacement panel with all brass valves to replace this piece of junk. I repaired mine at least 4 times even though I was following all of the precautions (don’t switch under pressure or while filling). Look up KantLeak valves on the internet and it will take you to there website

Hi and welcome to the forum! There could be an air leak or even a possible water leak. I'd start by removing the basement wall and inspecting the pump. Not knowing which water pump is in the 2017, there should be a trouble shooting list in the paper work for your model pump in the owners packet. Or maybe you are out of water??? The gauges are notorious for being wrong.

The pump in the 2017 337 should be a ShurFlo: https://www.granddesignrv.com/owner-...s/detail/25465

I agree that an O-ring in the Anderson valve or a crack/loose fitting near the pump would be where I would start. The hoses to and from the pump screw on so, if you're really lucky, it might just involve tightening those up. If there is any moisture behind the basement wall, put a good fan in there an dry it out for several days.

I had a valve where the oring failed and it exhibited the same symptoms. I would also check the water pump filter housing for cracks and to make sure it's tight. It's located on the inlet of the water pump, great place to draw air into the system.

I had a similar problem on my 295RL with an easy fix: the filter just upstream of the pump was loose. I cleaned the filter and tightened it down to fix.
