Looking for advice - winter storage
Own a 2020 Imagine 2800BH and wondering about storing outdoors (Michigan). Our previous unit was stored indoors for winter, but bigger unit (more $$ to store) and desire to have access for a trip south in January / February has us wondering if we need to continue storing indoors.
So, looking for advice. Spoke to GD folks, they said not necessary - just keep up on maintaining sealant. I've read differing opinions on covering the unit.
What say ye?Dan

.An independant RV repair shop who also sells parts once told me he would be happy to sell us a trailer cover but even happier to repair the roof from spots getting rubbed on over and over, they did not reccomend covering and we never have . Now instead of covering and winterizing we head south.
Being in Kzoo you might see more snow than us here in the SE part of MI so keep the roof as clean as you can clean by sweeping it off after snowfalls and also be mindful of where you are piling up snow as you shovel/blow it away so a clean get away is easy. And listen to GD, check the roof caulking now while it's nice out and seal any areas that may need touch up.Marcy & Gary
