If I had to guess, I would say it is just that, black silicone. Can be bought at Home Depot/Lowes.

    Hi @agoutdoors,

May I ask you to add your 17-digit RV VIN in your "About Me" section of your forum profile? Having that information helps us research your concerns. Thank you in advance...

    Hi @agoutdoors,

Thanks for updating your VIN! That is a standard black silicone.

I'm interested in why you're asking about this. We have severe rust developing all over the frame of our 369R that I'm going to have to address soon.

    manwoody,

If you take a look through some of the other forum topics you will see some from Ago and myself about some leaking. The factory used this silicone around hoses/drains etc in the underbelly. Both Ago and myself and a few others have pulled this underbelly out to fix issues and wanted to use the same stuff to seal it back up. Split

I discovered when driving in wet weather, the road spray is penetrating the frame via some of the holes around the slide rails, etc... and soaking the insulation in the underbelly. Also, where the floor mounts to the trailer is not sealed and water is also penetrating there. I figure I can slow down the road spray a lot by doing my own sealing.
