Found this metal part in my sewer hose
Anyone know what this part is?
I found it this morning in my sewer hose after dumping tanks (black and grey).

Almost looks like a cartridge fuse. Strange that whatever it is would be in your tanks. Possibly dropped in there during construction?
It's certainly not a part of what a dump valve looks like, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Curious, how did you find it?

I unhooked my hose from the clear elbow and it was sitting just inside the hose end. I had my super think poo gloves on, so was able to recover and disinfect.

It has threads on the inside and the other end comes to a point.

Makes sense, I found a corn kernel one time when I removed my hose. Couldn't even remember last time we had corn, was strange. Originally Posted by gkchristopher

Since there are threads on it, disregard the cartridge fuse. I'm still going with the theory something was dropped in during construction, or fell out of someone's pocket while rushing to sit on the toilet for a close call. [emoji6]
