Tires and wheels on my new 390rk

    Hi all.

Taking delivery of our new 390rk this week, or as soon as it is delivered from the factory, whichever comes first.

Have a few questions about the tires and wheels.

This coach is coming with the 17.5 inch wheels and Cooper E rated tires per the build sheet from the dealer. I thought that the only way to get 17.5 wheels was to order the 8k lb axle. The dealer isn't showing that as part of the order, nor the price. Anyone know what the parameters for 17.5 inch wheels and Cooper E rated tires is??

I've called the dealer 3 times and had him confirm the build sheet and the price, because I don't want to drive 650 miles just to be jacked around. The price quoted is already $4500 less than any other dealer I've contacted. I've given my local dealer an opportunity to come close to a price match, and he won't touch it.

Also, is the E rated tire sufficient, or should I consider an upgrade to an H or higher??

Something is miswritten on the build sheet...Cooper or no other tire manufacturer makes an E rated 17.5. I currently have Goodyear 17.5’s which are H rated.

You are correct. I meant H rated. I'm questioning what
    Axle I'm going to get.

According to the Grand Design website, you can get the 17.5" tires without 8,000lb axles. But, if you order 8,000lb axles, 17.5 tires are required.
