do you follow tire Load and Inflation tables?
I'm about to let 40psi out of my trailer tires!
Personally, I've always followed Load and Inflation tables to match my actual vehicles weight and for MY tire size and load rating (E, F, etc)
The sticker on my trailer suggest 125psi which is simply the max tire pressure but WELL over what is safely required for my load.
My max trailer GVWR is 20,000lbs, Pretty sure I'll never be there, but that's the number, so even if I base my tire pressures off of 20k lbs, according to the Load and Inflation table, I'm perfectly safe at 80 psi. and again, this is for 20,000 lbs, so that already gives me a safety cushion since I'll be closer to 17,000. 80psi gives me
For reference, I have a triple axle, each with 215/75R17.5 tires, inflation table attached.
Anyways, just curious what YOU guys do. Do you follow the table for your weight/size? Do you follow the sticker no matter what it says? Do you follow what the tire shop says, or maybe just whatever the other guy on the forum uses? Do you pick a number out of a hat? haha, let me know!2021 Momentum 381M (Ordered 3/6/2020, Delivered 8/27/2020)

I have been following what the sticker on the trailer says for inflation. I know it is the max as well on the tire and it gives me lots of capacity. There have been many failures due to marginal tire capacities even at max pressure. I like to have the extra margin especially since I don't know the individual tire weights and one could be carrying much more than the rest. I prefer to be safe and do what I can to avoid a blowout. Not too concerned about too much wear at the center as the tires age out long before they wear out the tread.

I fill mine to just under the max. But only because I don’t have individual tire weights.
On my previous RV, a class A, I had it weighed and filled according to the inflation tables.
Now that I think it, I suppose instead of individual tire weights I can maybe jus use the last weight I got for the trailer axels. Since you are suppose to have the same pressures in both tires on an axel I suppose I could make all 4 the same. Now, where did I put those inflation charts for these Sailins......Larry KE4DMG

I run my G rated at cold 105, way more capacity than I will ever need.

If I don't have individual wheel weights, I go with what's on the sticker. I have Sailun S637s on our rig and go by the Sailun inflation table per wheel weights (which happens to be within 5 PSI of what's on the sticker, anyway).

My 376 came with E rated tires.(so sticker says 80) I upgraded to G rated Sailun tires. My trailer weighs 20,000 lbs per Cat scales. 16,380 lbs on the axles. Tires are rated for 110 psi max cold. I run them at 90 -100 psi but never under 90. In theory I could go much lower but like the thought of the extra capacity. I watch tire temp and pressures while on the road and have not seen the tires over 120 degrees. Pressure increase when hot is about 10 psi which is about the same as my truck tires.

I don't know what my E1 tires are actually carrying, so I put them at 80psi cold. Always.
I realize I could probably get away with less pressure.. according to the load/pressure tables..but what is the upside of doing that?2018 Dodge 3500 6.7 Cummins SRW w/Aisin

Thanks for all the input so far, kinda what I expected though. I figure most are at or near max, especially if you don’t know your actual weight then it’s a good safe point.
