Rear Receiver/ Bike Rack
Just wondering if someone could confirm the pin hole size on that rear receiver hitch? We're trying to purchase a locking pin & cable for our bike rack as we wait for our new Reflection 29rs to arrive. Not sure if its 1/2" or 5/8" pin???

Awesome Poppy. Would you know it's capacities? And, possibly if the 303 is comparable to the 337? For example, would a washer/dryer combo or generator ride comfortably back there on a rack?

See the little Warning sticker barely visible on the trailer just above the hitch? It specifically stipulates that the hitch is rated for a maximum of 300 lbs, including whatever rack is in it.

Hi all, new to the forum here. I purchased a 2016 29RS last week, as well as a 2016 Chevy 2500HD CC Duramax to tow it. Kind of a surprise retirement gift for my wife, but I'll admit I wanted them just as much. I'm having a Comfort Ride 184 installed next week and hope to take it out for a "shake out" right after that!
I do have a simple question regarding the factory installed rear hitch on the 29RS. Since I don't have it home from the dealer yet, I couldn't go read the sticker, but I remember seeing a 300# limit, or the warranty would be voided. My question is if that's only a tongue weight limit, or can a small <300# fishing boat trailer be towed behind? I want to take two 50# kayaks along on our extended winter trip. Maybe there's a way to haul two 12 1/2 foot long kayaks vertically on one of those boxes, but I haven't seen a mounting scheme for that that I can remember. I would rather carry the kayaks on the back of the 29RS if it can be done safely.
Thanks for any ideas! Really looking forward to getting out there with this unit.

Here is an option of carrying them on the back of the 5er. I know nothing more than what displayed on the webpage but would be interested if anyone has used or talk to someone that have used them.

I saw these racks on the back of an RV in New Mexico last winter. It looked really neat, but I think the whole thing was probably over the 300# limit for the receiver on the back of our Grand Designs. In addition, 12.5' kayaks mounted with the bow or stern a couple of feet off the ground would never make it under places lake we had to go through on US-20 coming east out of Erie, PA, earlier this week (going under a train overpass). I was worried about my 13' 6" clearance!

Thanks for the replies about the "rvkayakracks". They do look good, but I agree that 12.5' + is a little taller than I would like. The kayaks would come off of course and go on the truck for local use, but still more height than I would like. Need to think about that small trailer I guess, or maybe just picking up another 10' kayak and leaving my 12.5 at home.
