377mbsr grey 2 tank not emptying

We have a 2019 SOL 377MBSR and have run into an odd issue on our last move. Our #2 grey doesnt want to drain beyond 2/3rds. With the use of a backflow cap and a hose I've been able to figure out the valve is working as I can back fill it to full and redrain it back to 2/3rds indicated on the panel but not further. I also determined the valve appears to hold pressure against backflow so I really think it's working. The length of the drain back to 2/3rds is nowhere as long as a black tank drain so I'm suspecting the guage panel is probably right.
Kinda stumped and was looking for suggestions what next to try or look at?

Be aware, tank sensors are notorious for incorrect readings. It's quite likely the tank is actually empty, in spite of the indicator.

Turns out you were correct...the grey tank was smelling awful I think due to an intermitant sewer positive pressure issue going on. Weird situation to say the least. Any way sanitized and free dumped it and plan on using the automatic dishwasher soap and a partial full tank the next time we move to see if we can clear up the sensor problems.
