    Comparison shopping questions

Still being pretty new to all of this, I have a question concerning the differences between two fivers. The Reflections 337RLS and the Solitude 310GK are very similar in a size that fits our needs nicely. Upon looking at the floor plans and amenities there are not a lot of differences.

The ones that are readily available are:
    GVW & GVWR
    18cu fridge in the 310 vs a 12 in the 337.
The 310 is listed as 6" shorter but a foot taller than the 337.
Holding tanks are larger in the 310.

So, to educate this newbie what are the other differences? I'm just guessing the "S" class is a slightly higher end product, maybe built a little sturdier, but don't know enough about them.

There are quite a few differences between the Reflection and Solitude lines (and we have full-timed in a Reflection 337 and now our Solitude 310).

The Solitudes are wider and taller than the Reflections. The Solitudes are a bit better insulated and have insulation on top of the Coroplast underbelly - Reflections do not. Solitudes (except for the "S-Class" which is a lower price point line than the regular Solitudes) have hydraulic auto-leveling and main slides while Reflections and S Class Solitudes have electric auto-leveling and main slides. The residential (120 VAC compressor) fridge is not an option in the Reflection line. The appliances are higher end in the Solitudes than in the Reflections (and also a bit higher end than in the S Class). The Solitudes come with a dampened pin box (currently a MORryde pin box) - the Reflections and S Class Solitudes do not. The chassis and wall/roof construction on the Solitudes and S Class Solitudes are the same. As for suspension, 10K axles with disc brakes and load range H tires are an option on the Solitudes... again, not available on the Reflection line. Oh - full body paint is not available on the Reflection line (not something we're into, anyway).

You can go to the GD construction pages for the two lines and probably find some other differences:

    Solitude: https://www.granddesignrv.com/showro...e/construction

    Reflection: https://www.granddesignrv.com/showro...n/construction

Let us know if you have any more questions.

    Rob

Edit/PS - the Reflection 337 will put about 3,000 lbs. on the pin fully loaded. The Solitude 310 GK will weigh in with about 3,400 lbs. on the pin fully loaded. Choose your tow vehicle carefully.

    . . . . . . . . . . . .

WOW! Looking at your signature lines, it would appear you are the perfect person to respond to my questions. I really appreciate the insights. I probably don't know enough right now to ask any other intelligent questions, but feel free to share what-ever thoughts you might have comparing the 337 to the 310. I'm here to learn and getting to benefit from first-hand experiences is the absolute best way to do that.
