Mount for Furrion 7" monitor/display in Ford Truck
Anybody have a good way to mount a 7" Furrion Display monitor in their Ford? I have the suction mount (gets in the way of visibility and falls off the windshield) and the table mount (sits in the dash top console recess but shakes a lot and moves around).
Wish I could get a ball-mount that fits the socket in the back of the monitor (think it is 0.85" ball size). If I could find this there are some nice dash mount kits available ... https://www.proclipusa.com/product/p...extra-strength

Unlike some I hate stuff cluttering my view out the windows, the windshield and of the mirrors. For that reason my phone with google maps up is positioned in a stand in the hump cup holder and the observation camera 7" screen lies on the hump in front of the tray. I can view each easily with a quick glance. Truth be told the rear camera is occasional use on an "as needed" basis

Don’t know what you are pulling, but with a 5th wheel a mirror mount like this http://https://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/f2/new-mirror-mount-for-rear-view-camera-monitor-182654.html is nice.

Thinking of rubber bands/velcro might be something to try. I'll put felt on the back of the display to keep from scratching up my rear view mirror. I saw the 3D printed mounts but sounds like the material used would melt/deform in the heat.
Re-pack bearings necessary?
