Hello there from Nanaimo, there is also a brand new fully service RV park just outside of Tofino. Prices are reasonable as well for the area. An update on the road to Tofino, there is roadwork being done to widen the road at the Kennedy Lake hill. Once completed, the narrowest part of the road will be fixed. T

That said, there are Super B train trucks travelling on the road to supply Tofino and Ucluelet. I have personally driven tractor trailer to Tofino as well and will say that the road, while it has it’s places, is perfectly fine in anything you have to take out there. Awesome! Thanks so much for that information. The Surf Grove RV park looks brilliant. I think we've found our campsite. I really hope they open the border by next summer. Our kids really miss their grandparents....sigh.

Thanks. We are actually in the suburbs in Port Moody and would have just enough room on our driveway but that would force us to park vehicles on the street. We will probably have to rent space in a storage yard over the winter in the future.

Hi Sue and Kev. I'm a camper from Ontario but did teach at a small school in Port Moody called College Park, closed long ago. Great place to live. Would love one day to pull the 5th wheel out West. Enjoy the camping . Colin

There is a new RV facility as of this year.
Surf Grove.
The road has recently been upgraded, it’s tight but a 34’ RV and dually can make it, logging trucks on that road all the time

We have just ordered our first RV for delivery in early 2021. The Imagine XLS 22RBE. Looking forward to adventures with it next year. Finally upgrading from tent camping to off the ground 🙂
