    TV Coax connection in kitchen

I have a 2015 Grand Design Solitude 379FL. The RV park that I am at provides cable TV which I connect to the “cable” input at the convenience center. The RV has a TV coax connection outlet in the kitchen for cable (lower connector) and satelite (upper connector). When I connect a coax from the TV to either connector I do not get a signal. Any suggestions on how to get the TV in the kitchen to work?

if you haven't tried already, in the setup menu on the tv you should set signal input to cable and scan for channels.

Probably not your issue but I didn't realize for the longest time in my previous trailer that you have to make certain the antenna booster is off.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the booster is off. It seems as if the the the coax from the convenience center (labeled 'cable' outside of RV) is not connected to the outlet in the kitchen.

I guess at this point you will want to take the plate off and remove the box and check that. Maybe you will be lucky and the cable is just sitting back there and never got connected. Otherwise you might remove the access panel in the pass through and try and trace the cable.

Let us know how this goes.

With the antenna booster turned on (and park cable disconnected) can you get an antenna signal to the TV. This might help diagnose where the disconnect is.
