What are the low temperatures going to be over the winter? If it gets below freezing then yes.

We live in Western Oregon ( Eugene / Springfield area ). We use our Solitude most of the winter. We will go to the Oregon Coast almost each month; Oct to March.
If the weather guesser's say it's going to get cold, I'll either put a heater in the basement or blow out the lines, depending on how cold for how long. KEN

I lived in Seattle for over 20 years. It can freeze solid anywhere in the area. One year it was frozen streets for over a week.

An electric heater, as above is an option. An air compressor can make winterizing very easy and quick.

We just winterize ours for the first time. I was a little nervous before starting but followed a spreadsheet that our dealer gave us and was really surprised how quick and easy it was. However, I can see how easy it would be to miss a faucet.

There are 'blowout' fittings that connect the compressor to the water inlet. Use about 40psi. Then open your faucets one at a time to let the water out. Cycle through the Nautilus panel as well. Then you can simply add water when you want to use the rig. No rinsing of antifreeze later!

You still need to put some antifreeze in the sink drains. Some folks put a valve on the water heater drain, for extra convenience.

    No water, no ice!
