Inverter/Charger
I converted my battery bank too (2) 12-volt AGM deep cell batteries from (2) 12-volt wet cell Deep cycle batteries is the inverter/charger that is in my Solitude 3350rl ok to use or do I need to do something to it or change it out to a different inverter/charger? Thank you to everyone that chimes in I really appreciate it verrrrrry much.

On my rig I had a separate inverter and converter, not a combined unit. I changed things out to AGMs and a Xantrex Inverter/Converter. I doubt the cheaper converter GD installed would work well for the AGMs, but honestly - I never bothered to check.
I had to set my Xantrex so it knew I had AGMs and not wet cells.Larry KE4DMG

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think it matters between AGM and wet cells. As long as you dont mix them together. You only need the change when going to lithium

Not sure that its all about "can I do it"
SO, my understanding, and believe me I know it is not a specialist's understanding, is that it DOES matter for several reasons.
First is that different chemistries have different charging profiles. I do realize both contain lead/acid, however my understanding is that AGM and original Lead/Acid are significantly different in the way they act.
This also includes their discharge characteristics, and hence, their need to have different failsafe characteristics.
I also understand that many charging systems have choices that include FLA, AGM, LIFepo4.
Now, as to whether or not it will "work" IMO, the FLA and AGM types are close and so chargers will be similar, and I suppose inverters would be also, with the caveat that the failsafe settings mentioned earlier need to be in place.
Just the opinion of someone who has spent a year or more studying the pros and cons of LIFePo4 vs. AGM. I still am on the fence, for what it is worth.

I'm hardly a battery expert. I just tend to follow the directions on the Inverter/Charger.
There must be a difference between all the types of batteries as far as charging them since my Xantrex instructions said to change the type to AGMs when I installed them. As to what that difference is, I have no idea.
My Xantrex has options for the following kinds of batteries: (Flooded), (AGM), (Gel), (Custom) (LiFePO4Larry KE4DMG

Three stage or four stage charger, or???
Ken, it is my understanding that a four stage charger is not of any additional value to a LIFePO4 battery. I say this after reading many blogs wherein minds much smarter than me, opine that a LiFePO4 battery has several unique attributes.
1) it does not benefit form being fully charged, and when over charged starts to degrade in terms of lifetime.
2) float charging is not an option, or at least not a requirement for LIFePO4. In fact, it only extends the charge farther than this type of battery needs and wants for optimal life and performance.
3) there is value in charging to less than 100 % SOC. This is because, although you have slightly less total available discharge capacity, your lifetime is extended up to 500%.
4) LIFePO4 is widely used in the R/C field (radio control). Charging profiles used there show that these batteries can be charged at 3C for a quick charge, and when terminal V is reached shut off completely rather than "soaked".
I do not know how accurate these statements are, as I am still researching, but if this is accurate, then a charger with multiple stages that ar not specific to LIFePO, are not useful, and could actually be harmful to these batteries.
