Suggestions for a cover for my 2018 2600RB

We have a 2018 Imagine 2600RB and the cover we picked up when we bought it is unusable after just 2 winters.
I'm hoping someone can suggest a decent cover for this RV and I hope it's not too terribly expensive.
I had been considering a steel RV carport but I wasn't able to make room in the yard (cut trees and add a stone driveway) so it looks like another cover is in my future.
I'd appreciate any input or any suggestions as to a decent winter cover even if it only lasts a couple winters since I hope to eventually get that car port.

Covers are not recommended by many long-time RVers. In windy conditions they can (and do) scuff the finish - especially on the front cap - and can damage things on the roof. They also reduce air flow inside the RV and trap humidity, promoting the growth of mold and mildew. Of course, opinions are like certain parts of the anatomy... everybody has one.

But your points make sense. I'm just struggling with not covering it up for these nasty Michigan winters.
My end game plan is to have a RV cover carport built but it hasn't happened yet.
Looks like I'll have to save up my pennies this winter and make it happen in the Spring / Summer.

We're in Canada with nasty winters, what I've been told by different dealers, service rep, some seasoned rvers and some research is to simply inspect the roof for cracks and cover just the ac. Covers will do more harm then good. Of course, a hard garage cover would be better.

I had my last rig covered for 3 years with an Adco cover and it did a great job with no noticeable wear and tear on the rig. We live in Ontario, so basically the same climate as Michigan. Traded that rig for a new 2970RL and negotiated a new Classic cover in with the deal. Just covered it this week. Just a hint - tennis balls on the drip corners and pool noodles on the a/c unit to avoid and sharp edge cuts / rips. Stay tuned and I will update in the spring.

To cover or not depends on where you live and store IMO. Like my ADCO, now on this trailer for the third year. Wind is not a big issue where I live, moss, algae and mold on the exterior are, the cover stops that, along with preventing the collection of Douglas Fir needles on the trailer. I close it up, vents shut tight and use Dri-Z which is emptied every month.
The cover is the “designer series”, Tyvek top which protects everything on the roof, breathable sides to reduce moisture buildup.

Last year I watched the wind in the Columbia Gorge tear slide toppers off, I could not imagine a cover surviving that wind.

Be leery of those carport structures. While they may come with "engineered" approval, they generally aren't design with sufficient engineering for critical loading, and in Michigan you have snow, ice, and wind combination I will guarantee the low-buck structural engineer who did a generic analysis didn't account for... Many of those darn things have collapsed in the snowbelt winters on their owner's beloved vehicles and toys.

You already have a cover that lasts 2 winters. If you find a 3 year cover you won't need it after you get your long term cover installed in two years.

I am an advocate to cover. I made the mistake of not covering my class a for the first 7 years of its life, and it killed the graphics.

If you get a good cover and it fits well you can get more than a couple of winters
