Awesome AJ -- thank you so much! Interesting that your pin weight is lighter than what's advertised. Not that your F-450 would care! lol

So what is street vs curb weight?

The F450 does really well with it...

The street side is the left (driver) side the curb side is the right (passenger) side.

The street side being heavier due to the kitchen slide being on that side. And it will get heavier once it is stocked.

Thanks for the info guys. Didn't mean to start yet another weight police discussion lol. What made me post this was seeing a Forest River XLR toyhauler advertised with a 13200lb dry weight, but the sticker showed 14,500lbs. I just hate that!

We've just purchased our 2015 M350, pulling it with a Ram 2500 SRW. Thinking about getting DRW hubs when towing, has anyone with SRW though of changing to dually w/o buying a 1 ton?

It's not just dual wheels that make a 350/3500 more desirable. The axle diameter and the structure of the dual rear wheel differential housing is just so much heavier than that of a single rear wheels. You cannot turn a SRW into DRW.

My research of the Ram 1 ton DRW and my 3/4 ton SRW tells me I have the same axle and same ring and pinion as the DRW with normal output, but not the H.O. powered/Aisin tranny model.
Are the Fords 1 ton and 3/4 ton that different?

Why would this conversion be less expensive than selling or trading your 3/4 T for a 1 ton dually. Your conversion will not change the GVWR or GRAWR...I understand that you can apply for those changes as a modified truck but it may be an expensive and complicated process. Just my 2 cents...
