    Hyd. Stablizers

Our unit is a 2019 Momentum 395M. We have been experiencing a “thunking sound” off and on, which I believe is the hyd jacks settling. Occurs most times in the morning. I thought maybe the high temps here in Las Vegas was some how effecting the hyd fluid. It started doing it again in the evening. This morning it started again, this time jolting the entire trailer. We have been sitting in the same spot for two months. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you search the forum for 'stiction' you can read numerous topics about it. Basically there is an additive you will need to put in your hydraulic fluid and then cycle all the hydraulics numerous times.

Be prepared when you go to get the fluid. If you choose the CAT fluid its a bit on the pricey side, or at least it was for me ringing in over 30 bucks for a quart. It however seems to be the more favoured additive from reviews online and did completely solve (in one treatment) the exact issue you were referring to in our 6pt hydro level on our previous trailer. Not to say that the other fluids recommended may not solve the issue. I also do not know pricing on the other fluids either.
