Is Grand Design using Furrion A/C's now?

Hello. I'm new to this forum and we don't have our new Imagine 2800BH that we ordered yet, but I was watching different videos on YouTube and while watching one on a new Imagine 2910BH from Woody's RV World in Canada, I noticed it has a Furrion A/C unit on it.

Has anyone heard if Grand Design is switching from the Coleman A/C's to Furrion? I'm curious since I just ordered our camper less than 2 weeks ago and I am now wondering which A/C will be on my camper. I did order it with a 2nd A/C, so that makes me even more curious.

I have heard good things about the Furrion units and I am wondering what anyone else has heard.

I just picked up my 3030RLS and it has a Coleman. Came off the line during the first week of October. The tech at the dealership said he goes up to look what model AC is on there during the PDI because 'they are using whatever they can get their hands on'.
So I guess it is a supply issue?

I was just at the factory a few weeks ago, and only saw Coleman on the 5ers. However, I did see two Imagines recently on a local dealer lot with one Coleman and One Dometic. Don't know if that was the result of dealer adding a second A/C or from the factory. As for the Furrion units, I have yet to see one on top of any brand.

Furrion a/c's on some Imagines and Transcends.

Second air's on Imagines, Reflection trailers, and Transcends are currently not available at all from the factory due to shortages.

Ouch! Aren't all three brands manufactured in Asia too adding to delays with freight time on the water?

Yep. There are a/c units available.....in China.

The problem is paying enough and the right people to get them on the boats over.

I was told at my Dealer couple months ago GD was having trouble getting AC units. The ones they were installing have a lot of failures.

Sounds like Carrier should consider restarting their RV A/C unit business.
