Just before our last trip of the season last month, I ordered a new mattress to replace that dreaded thing that GD installed as a mattress. One of the best upgrades we've done. Slept like a baby for 2 weeks.
When the new mattress arrived, I stored the old one in the garage just in case. Not sure why I kept it as I was never going to sleep on it ever again.
As I was clearing out the garage last week and notice the mattress, I decided cut it to replace the dinette cushions. During our last 2 week vacation, we got a lot of rainy days and found the dinette cushion to soft. You could almost feel your butt touching the plywood underneath. I know, world class problems, mattress to hard dinette to soft. Picky, picky picky.
This actually turned out great although we haven't really test drove these new seat padding for extended sit down time yet. The old padding are now in the garage for, you guessed it "just in case". No wonder my garage is so cluttered.
