Trailer plug corroded
We bought a 2016 2950rl from an older couple that only used it a few times. It is in excellent shape!
The only issue I can find is the the trailer plug that fits into the truck bumper is highly corroded and causing a connection issue.
Instead of trying to clean the compact space and possibly getting moisture into the plug, is there a replacement on etrailer.com or another site that is a direct replacement?
When I look at some of the trailer plugs/connectors, they vary in length and I don't have the TT close by to measure.

You should be able to buy the plug, and just cut the old one off and wire the new one to the existing cable.
Here are a few links to etrailer:

https://www.etrailer.com/Wiring/Pollak/PK12706.html

It comes down to your level of comfort in replacing the plug, or just replacing the cable. The third listing I entered above is for a short pigtail that you can use. Cut the old plug off, strip the casing and the individual wires, match up the colors, use the provided wire crimps to crimp them together, and wrap a snot bunch of electrical tape around the whole thing. This would probably be the easiest option, but the ugliest. Me, personally, I would purchase the first one and wire it from there.

You can buy the umbilical with the molded on plug and just splice it back at the junction box exactly as the factory does. Match the wires as you remove and connect to new. They cab be purchased at eTrailer, Amazon, brick and mortar shops no problem.

If you want to spend some time and elbow grease first, try QD contact cleaner on both the male and female parts of the plug. Spray generously several times then work the plug into the socket repeatedly to wipe the blades clean. Once you get good contact and veryify all is working use a dielectric grease on both sides to prevent moisture corroding it again. Many industrial sites use QD contact cleaner to do preventative maintenance on their motor controls. It is great at removing tarnish and oxidation.
