Crazy bicycle, crazy solution, or maybe a little bit of both?

I wanted to transport our bicycles in the back of my short bed truck so I can take them with me weather I have my trailer in tow or not. Mrs skreef's bicycle is a full size, aluminum frame beach cruiser so that wasn't the problem. Mine on the other hand is extra long (just shy of 8'), steel frame, and presents a challenge for transporting.

Where there's a will there's a way. Here is how they are strapped into the back of the pickup truck. Leaving enough room for my Solo Stove Bonfire.

When towing the trailer I do have to remove my front tire. In this extreme right hand turn test the forks will clear over top of the propane tanks. I really doubt I would ever turn this sharp but it will work if I do. Best of all it didn't cost me anything but a little time figuring out how to make it work.
