Lightbulb Reflection 311BHS or Reflection 31MB & Price expectations

Reflection 311BHS or Reflection 31MB & Price expectations.
    1. We are a family of 5 with 3 boys 11,9 and 7 looking at the 311BHS or the 31MB. We're interested in anyone's input on the two trailers especially from the GD community on experiences camping with them. Wife was concerned the 311BHS didn't have enough windows in the cooking/living area.

    2. I've started working with a dealer in SoCal and they said they'd only come off 5% off MSRP of $71627 for the 311BHS. I gave an offer that was 30% off and the sales lady won't even consider taking it to her "sales manager". She didn't give me a number to counter and I am now contacting other dealers in the USA. If anyone has a recent purchase of either 311BHS or 31MB and could give details I could use some insight.

Appreciate any feedback on the two points.

No idea on price in this crazy 2020, but many have got 20%+ off MSRP in the past.

5% is BS. Don't be afraid to shop across the country to find the best price. Make a vacation out of it if you need to go somewhere to pick it up. Or consider buying a used unit. These things are built so poorly that a case could be made to buy a used one that's had its kinks worked out already.

I agree with the others. Look elsewhere! We traveled almost 900 miles each way to pick up our Momentum. We made a vacation out of it and we got a good deal. I would contact all dealers that are within a distance you are willing to travel to pick it up.

I just got back from a 3500 miles round trip to pick up my 31MB. It was a barely used 2020 but was about $20,000 less than any dealer in the western US would come off of a new unit MSRP.

Out west they're not currently discounting much because of the limited supply and consumer demand. In the east, inventory is starting to come back. I'm literally at GD right now and there are acres of units waiting to be transported!

Point being, should see pricing negotiation come back in favor soon.

On our recent trip up to Northern Indiana, we have passed a lot of new RVs headed the other way by transporters. All brands all manufacturers.

Would you mind sharing what you paid? I bought a 2020 31mb in July.

I paid $42k for a lightly used 2020. I'm in WA State. One new one i was looking at the dealer initially wanted to sell me at MSRP of $63,500. I told him i wasnt born yesterday. Then he assured me he would give me top dollar for my 2018 Jayco Eagle fifth Wheel. Nope he offered me $10,000 less than what i sold it for privately a week later. He then told me he was able to get a dealer rebate of $500 off msrp. I said thanks for wasting my time. Finally he countered with another $2,000 off. I told him no not even in this galaxy is he close. All this transpired after i told him i would buy today at $45,000 and no higher. So i started looking around the western half of the US. Inventory wasnt real good and most dealers i talked to either had the units on their lots spoken for or had them in transit. I started looking at slightly used and found a few. One in Colorado and another in California, both in the high 40's for 2020's. Then randomly i searched nationwide craigslist search engine and found this unit in Ohio. I called the guy and it all ended up working out. Met in Minnesota and did some sightseeing on the way back. Took my dad with me and made a week long road trip out of it. This unit also had a 2nd low profile AC installed, tv in the bedroom, and the furrion reverse camera and screen installed. I'm more than happy with the purchase although I am working some kinks out. Fridge and fireplace are acting up but I'm handy and will figure it out.

Congrats!!!! I got my “new” 2020 in July for $45,111. No tv in bedroom. Two AC’s though. Just had Big O tires replace all my Westlakes (well not the spare) for $496. That’s a good price you got. That thing is basically brand new.
