I2670MK Refrigerator 12VDC Wiring & Fuse
The wiring for the 12VDC refrigerator goes from the refrigerator to the back side of the fuse panel in the bedroom.
There are three wires tied together behind the fuse panel that goes to the +12VDC, 15A DC fuse. ie all three of these wires are going to only one fuse. The fuse is labeled “refrig furnace”
They are the power wire from the furnace, the wire from the refrigerator and a third wire.
My questions are:
1. Why doesn't the refrigerator have it's own separate fuse instead of sharing with the furnace? Plenty of empty spaces for more fuses.
2. What is the third wire that is tied with the other two used for? It goes through the floor and I can't tell what it connects too.

Resolution:
GD has the 12 VDC wires from the furnace and main refrigerator wired together through one 15A DC fuse. A more favorable option would to have each device on their own fuse. Furthermore, the wiring going to the furnace is laying across the sharp edges of the sheet metal on the furnace housing which could cause an electrical short.
I put each of these on separate fuses and insulated the furnace wiring as shown in the attached photos.
The orange wire on fuse 11 is going to the main refrigerator.

Nice, did you ever figure the 3rd wire? And what did you do with it?
