    The many answered question

I know this has been asked numerous times, in many different ways, and I have searched for 3 days for the right answer but I am still unclear.

I need new tires on my TV. Its a single axle f-350 and I need good quality tires for year round driving plus towing at near capacity weight. I have read a lot about tires and there are so many options.

I am looking for experience. The Michlans that came stock were decent but only lasted 20,000 miles (4500 towing).

    Thank you

We have always run Yokohama Geolander HT Load Range E on our 1996 K3500 crew cab SRW. They have always performed and worn well. Bottom line, it is the only tire my wife will let me put on HER truck. I don't dare try to change it up.

I've got 47,000 miles on my stock Michelins. I've always had the best results with Michelins and their Defenders will be my choice when I replace these.

My Michelin Defenders have been been very good. I take good care of them with rotation and proper inflation.

I’d be scratching my head if you can’t get 40,000 out of Michelins. How did the wear? Rotation?

I kept a close eye on my tires. The wear was fantastic. However, I did not rotate. And the miles stacked on before I knew it.
It was mostly the end. We did a 1700 mile (each way) trip to Michigan in October. As I said I kept a close eye on everything but didn't rotate.
