Norcold 2118 Not a fan
This is our first experience with a Norcold refrigerator. So far we have owned the rig for 7 months and the fridge has failed now twice. When we arrived at our winter spot we found both upper cooling fans had failed and fell apart. We had a mobile service company come out and replaced them after a delay in getting parts. GD did give us a case number and we have submitted the invoice. However we have never heard another word from them. Now the internal fans have stopped working. We are back to buying 4 bags or ice a day to keep items in coolers again. I have tried several time to reach Norcold. After countless emails and calls I’m done with them. Worst customer service I have ever had from a company. They obviously know they are selling expensive junk and are not willing to support their product.
Is this normal with this type of fridge? We are to the point we can’t trust it enough to buy a weeks worth of food.

Unfortunately, if you search the forum you will find many posts on this topic. We had at least three (I lost count) complete failures of our Norcold in the 4-1/2 years we were full-time in our Reflection fifth wheel. When we ordered our new Solitude, we ordered it with a residential fridge. This option won't work for everyone, but it's great for our lifestyle.
