    wood blemishes

Ideas on covering these scratches/blemishes on the doors?
We've tried the crayon-like sticks, but don't seem to work.

    Thx,
    John

Out there somewhere, are furniture repair markers that come in different colors. They look like kids “Mr. Sketch” markers (can’t tell you where to find them as I inherited a set from my mother). You might be able to find a better color match. Once you’re satisfied it looks the way you want it, I’d give it a touch-up with a light dry-brush of poly.

I agree on the Minwax pens. I am puzzled at what is causing the issue? Any clues or is this just normal wear? If you have an artist friend they might be able to mix some of their acrylic paint to get a color match.
    Hope this helps

It's a vinyl wrapping. The edges can loosen over time and then flake off.

Looks like you'll forever be fixing little divots. Maybe just make a collage out of your door ... every time you go out camping add a photo or two or friends and places.

    What a great idea.

Just thinking out loud here add a few trim pieces and make it a shaker door - or numerous other styles. Even strip the vinyl and paint it.

John - our bedroom door has some of this same wear but ever so slight. I am going to add some felt stick on pads between the door and trim to prevent any further rubbing. Our bathroom door has no wear but I will add pads there as well.

As you are aware, this rubbing and wear indicates the movement of the RV when being towed and the "rolling earthquake" terminology used by many experienced RV folks over decades, thus affecting all kind of build areas/components/etc.
