Jeff, what is a sail switch?

The "Sail" switch is a simple safety mechanism that prevents the Propane Valve from being turned on in the furnace if the Blower Fan is not running. It has a 2 x 2 inch "Sail" that is attached to a long arm that gets blown away from the fan when the fan is operating, the arm is attached to a switch that gets "closed" which completes the circuit and allows the Propane Valve to open. Without the blower running, you wouldn't want the Propane Valve to open.

When you say it quit working, does anything work? Blower come on but no heat? No blower? Thermostat working, etc.?

Now the blower motor quit. Did some troubleshooting and the motor was gone. Bought a replacement and installed it and tested and it works again. Going to reinstall unit back into the camper. Tired of space heaters.
