Attwood Air - Air Conditioner Filter in living room.
Returned from a month in Florida on or break in period and found minor problems that were repaired when we had the unit winterized. One of the little items that the dealer will look into next week when we take it back for other item that they could not finish is this:
This is regarding specifically model 303 Reflection. If you shine a flashlight along each side of the air conditioner filter, there is a gap which appears to be about a one quarter inch. This would allow unfiltered air to enter the roof top unit. Has anyone else noticed this issue or could you check your unit and see if the problem exists. I would like to have feedback when I take the unit in next week.
We are completely satisfied with are 303 and could not be happier with our purchase.
Thanking you in advance for any feedback.

Hi KICKNBACK
There is a small gap down each side of the filter, but this is backed up by a much wider ledge on each side, so I think air entry around the filter would be minimal. It is interesting that, although the filter covers what appears to be about 9" of intake, based on the dirt in the filter it appears that air only enters through the forward 3". Our filter is 16 1/4 " wide.
