What Grill Do You Use? (need recommendations!)
We are in the market for a new grill for our RV expeditions. Only real criteria we have is nothing too big so it can be stored fairly easily (we have a 41 ft fifth wheel and will likely store it in the 'basement'). We've thought about Traeger but are not sure if we're ready to pull the trigger on one of those just yet.
What do you use and why do you like it?
Thanks!

We love our small Weber. Uniform heat, easy to clean and easy to store in the basement. We use it almost every day and see lots of these in the campgrounds we visit. The only thing we would do different is to go up one level to get the same unit but with the flip out side tables . . . these would be useful. We will likely add these to ours . . .

I agree with Rob...we have the same unit with the fold out shelves. We had it since 2010 and use it a lot. Had an issue last fall with low heat and had to replace the regulator...around $35 I recall direct from Weber.

I use and love out 2 burner camp chef stove. I know it’s not a light weight, easily stored portable grill but man----I sure love cooking on it. We have a flat griddle for any breakfast, Grill box for steaks and the beloved Dutch oven. Our love for camping has a lot to do with making the outdoor meals and cooking on this stove is really enjoyable. IMO the two burner with accessories is not too big for the two of us but you can also cook for groups of 5 or 6. Heck, throw some boneless ribs in the Dutch oven and the veggies grilling on the gril box you can cook for 8 easily

I too am a Weber man. We bought the Q2000 with the base. The shelves are not as strong as I would have thought they should be, but it works really well. We cook our bacon on it as well as all of our other meats and some veggies too. I like the disposable drain pans, and fact that the propane canister is well supported makes it easy to move if you decide to. We've had it for 18 months now, and use it every trip.

We have the Weber Q1000. It fits perfectly in the external entertainment center of our Reflection 317RST. We use a 4.25# propane tank and a hose we got from Coleman instead of the small screw-on bottles.

I have a camp chef 2 burner and the grill box. Im not sure how I feel about it at this point. It seems like the grill box is to close to the fire. And if you need to fry something it dosent seem to get hot enough. But I do love using a griddle on it for breakfast, as my son loves pancackes! I have seen a pellet grill made by "Green Mountain Grills" that the legs fold up into a handle. Runs on 12 volts or 110. I think I may try one of those because you can also use them as a smoker! Just like the treager.
